Situated on a beautiful natural site belong to Muckleshoot Tribe reservation, this project provides a great chance to design a building that can response to the site and nature.

The main design idea for this project is to emphasize the relationship of nature with Indian culture.  A common lobby connects four arms with different functions OF clinic, dental, gym and counselling, which provides connections as well as independency of each part.  The layout also create two courtyards: one for meditation garden, one for public gathering, which bring nature close to lobby.  The water feature at interior courtyard symbolize the origin of their tribe culture.

The mixed of nature materials wood contrast with man made materials of glass,  metal panels, concrete and CMU walls create exceptional beauty setting to view nature.

In charge of this project while at TGB architects.
